About the event

Seaside sessions specially designed for toddlers and pre-school age children. Join us for storytime in the Discovery Room and then we’ll guide you and your little one to search the seaweed, rummage through rockpools and let their coastal creativity thrive in a safe, group space.

Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please note, this event involves walking down a steep hill to the beach, and walking over uneven ground. Therefore this event may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

What to bring

This event takes place both inside and outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear (wellies are ideal), and lots of layers! If it's a hot day, remember a hat and suncream! Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
