About the event

Weekday wanders for adults with our rockpool expert! Take a stroll along the intertidal zone at South Landing, Flamborough, and go in search of fascinating marine life. We’ll take you on a guided tour and explore the rocky shore as we search for seaweeds, seek out starfish and pursue periwinkles.

The beach is accessed via a 5-minute walk down a road. The event will involve walking over uneven ground on the rocky shore and on slippery surfaces. Please ensure to wear suitable footwear and to bring waterproof clothing. We will be walking through rockpools so waterproof shoes are required - wellies would be best.

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies and lots of layers. If it's a hot day, remember a hat and sun cream.
