Join us at Potteric Carr, a wild oasis on the edge of Doncaster! Explore what moths have been caught in the moth trap overnight
About the event
Ian has recorded moths for many years and had compiled an extensive moth species list for Potteric Carr. No better person to have leading this morning session on moth identification!
Watch and learn as the moths are revealed under the egg cartons in the moth trap. An amazing experience to see then up close before they fly away.
Our reserve now supports 905 species out of a total of 2500 known species in the UK.
Timings are a rough estimate, it will depend heavily on overnight conditions as to how many moths are active.
