About the event

This event is limited to a maximum of 10 people and the walking route will cover about 4 miles in total from start to finish. There are several benches and two bird hides along the route, situated on the Canal Scrape trails near the Spurn Discovery Centre and at Kilnsea Wetlands where there will be opportunities to rest and scan your surroundings.

What to bring/wear

Outdoor clothing suitable for variable weathers (including walking boots) are recommended due to the exposed and variable nature of some of our trails near the Humber estuary. Binoculars are strongly recommended. Cameras may also be useful for capturing any rarities or notable sightings!

Toilets and catering

There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) at the Spurn Discovery Centre. As part of the walk’s admission, you will be able to enjoy a free hot drink of your choice with stunning views of the Humber estuary, Spurn peninsula and the Canal Scrape area from our café.

Please note most of our food is prepared within the café kitchen, so we are unable to guarantee that cross-contamination with allergens will not have occurred. Should you have any food-related allergies or queries please contact our team for further information.
