#TeamWilder Communities in Action
Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we’re helping community groups in Hull and Doncaster to identify and create opportunities to make more space for nature in their lives and local areas through our Nextdoor Nature programme.
Discover how we’re giving them the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a real and lasting difference in their local communities. Find out more in the case studies below.

Finding Funding
The Wildlife Trusts have pulled together a list of places that community groups can go to for grants to cover the costs of materials, equipment, plants, running events and other activity costs to help you to find the funding you need to make an impact.
GreenVision fund
Individuals and groups in Yorkshire seeking financial support for their #TeamWilder project can apply for grants of £500 from the GreenVision fund.
The GreenVision fund was created by Morley Glass, a manufacturer of glass units for windows and doors which feature integral blinds, who raise money by recycling post-consumer glass.
Old glass units removed from properties during window and door replacement work, that would otherwise needlessly go to landfill, are collected and then crushed by Morley Glass into cullet (crushed glass).
This is a raw material than can go directly into making new glass, cutting resource use, energy use and CO2 emissions in the process.
