A vital stepping stone for wildlife

Bees, butterflies and other insects are drawn to the colourful wildflowers at Bellfield’s Pasture during the summer – and the developing grassland and wood pasture should attract more and more species in the future.

The native tree and shrub species that have been planted will help link nearby wooded areas to make it easier for species like birds and bats to move around.
