Remake Learning Festival: ‘Remake’ Natural Jewellery
Potteric Carr nature reserve,
Mallard Way (nr junction 3 M18, south edge of Doncaster), Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 8DB
About the event
Come and spend some quality time in nature making your own jewellery from natural materials we find on the nature reserve.
This unique session gets the creative juices flowing as you design your own pieces from Elder and other types of wood to make a medallion and beads. Threading them onto twine to wear them with pride!
There will also be an additional activity where you can make an amulet by smelting pewter in a crucible on our campfire to pour into a mould of your design.
The wonderful History, Health and Happiness team from Heritage Doncaster are also joining us sharing artefacts from the museum.
Free to attend the event. If you wish to stay and explore the reserve, there is a charge of £6 per adult, free for children and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust members. This is payable at the visitor centre.
