A walk through this special pasture and traditional upland hay meadow, with plenty of stops to see the amazing plants that can be found here.

Ashes Pasture is home to no fewer than eight different species of orchid, as well as the rare bird’s-eye primrose and the gorgeous nodding heads of globeflowers.

Facilities - Please not there are no toilet or cafe facilities at or near this site.

Parking -
There is no designated car park for the reserve. There is room for 1 car to park 100m from the reserve entrance way, along the B6479 towards Ribblehead on the right. Please note B6479 (Gauber Road) can be busy with fast traffic and poor visibility.
There is an informal layby at What3Words courier.polices.cobbles – it’s then a few hundred metres roadside walk to Ashes.
Alternatively, there is a roadside on the verge at What3Words navigate.rings.skyrocket and walk 100 metres or so to the Ashes entrance.
