Join our birding expert Harry on a unique tour of the estate to explore and discover the diverse birds and wildlife within the gardens, grounds and wider estate. This is the perfect introduction to birding – especially as we enter migration season. No expert knowledge required! Your ticket includes welcome drinks, a fabulous lunch, free use of binoculars and a venture aboard the Castle Howard Estate Safari trailer.
This is a full day event including a welcome drink of tea, coffee or juice, and a Picnic Afternoon Tea to enjoy in nature.

Dogs
We love our four-legged friends, and they are very welcome at Castle Howard, but must be kept on a short lead at all times for the safety and comfort of both our visitors, and our wildlife. We also ask dog owners to clean up after their pets.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating areas at our cafés and water bowls are provided. Well behaved dogs are welcome inside our Coffee Shop, Farm Shop, Fitzroy Cafe, Boathouse Cafe and Courtyard Cafe. Bones are available to buy from the Farm Shop, subject to availability.
Dogs are not permitted in the Skelf Island Adventure Playground, Kelly Car Land Train, or in the House, with the exception of assistance dogs.
