About the event

Join our Wilder Humber team from Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and learn more about the seagrass restoration project at Spurn, and make some seagrass seed bags which will be planted out on the mudflats at the end of November by our Wilder Humber team.

What to bring

This is a drop-in event inside the Spurn Discovery Centre. Visitors are welcome to join in with the fun any time between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place inside, but when visiting Spurn we always suggest wearing sturdy footwear and plenty of layers if it is cold and plenty of suncream and a hat if it is hot.

Toilets and catering

There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving both hot and cold food.

Joining us on the day

T his event takes place in the Spurn Discovery Centre and is a drop-in event. Visitors are welcome to drop-in and join in on the fun between 11:00 and 15:00

Parking information

There is a ÂŁ5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
